The Soundtrack of Copa America
Overview
beIN Sports, a global network of sports channels, challenged artists and engineers from Berklee College of Music, Babson College, and Harvard University to build a music-oriented marketing campaign and online platform for the network’s coverage of Copa America 2015.
Our multi-disciplinary team was selected to take the idea live with funding from the network. The website featured original songs, chants, and videos created by Berklee musicians. Later, anthems for each country were added. To engage fans, the site allows anyone to upload their own song, chant or video related to Copa America or one of the teams competing in the tournament.
We also partnered with music tech company AudioCommon to enable fans the opportunity to produce their own songs by mixing the stems of selected tracks into unique mixes of their own.
